Ah ~ there's nothing better than this!

Full of warming cinnamon & ginger, this beautiful Chai Garam Masala will wake you up, stimulate the digestive system & settle any stomach discomfort.

To round out the herbal spiciness, we add star anise, clove, cardamom & black pepper. The final ingredient, which is not found in traditional Indian Chai Garam Masala, is earthy vanilla bean. It brings all the flavors together in a stimulating & grounding way.

Bonus: kids love this aromatic blend in the morning!

Straight from the streets of India.

During my travels in India, sipping on Chai Garam Masala was one of my favorite daily rituals.

Every morning you’d find someone serving fresh chai in handmade, lightly baked & unglazed clay cups called bhar.

These small clay vessels infuse the tea with a lovely Earth essence, as well as draw out impurities from the tea water.

When finished with your tea, it’s customary to smash your cup in the street or even throw it out the train window; since the cups are unglazed, they’re perfectly bio-degradable & the clay shards dissolve back into the Earth over time.

Featured Painting: Ah in Space

by founder Alison Van Wyck

Ah is the seed syllable for speech & expression.

I did a series of Sanskrit writing playing between the symbol & illusion of space.

This one cuts through space like a knife.
